So I've been 'yiffing' as we call it in this house for just about 24 hours. Ah lovely. I called the dr yesterday ~ why I don't have my own line into her office I don't know ~ when it started. A script for zofran was called in by her NP who had deteremined that it was a stomach bug and it instantly cut out the yiffing. Unfortunately I didn't sleep last night and the yiffing returned (even with the zofran). This morning we went in for my regularly scheduled appt. They were so kind to me, not making me sit in the waiting room (course would you make a pg woman who can't keep things down sit in the waiting room? I think not). Jr Mint has PLENTY of amniotic fluid according to our ultrasound. From there we went to the 'procedure' room to get on the monitor. Again the NST was great, and no contractions. When Anne comes in the room she BARELY got in the door and said to me "Uh...you have the flu" YOU THINK???? Overall I'm not THAT bad, but I'm not great either. There is litterally 'no room in the inn' at MMC unless you are actively in labor needing to push a baby out so I'm home. Not that I want to deliver while sick. BELIEVE ME. Anne is on call all weekend, and told me what to look for should I need to call her. Right now I need a nap. A LONG NAP.
On a very positive note D's last day at PS was yesterday :) So he's doing the homemaker, nurse thing...and doing it qutie well.
And yes Julia...I'm still scheduled for WEDNESDAY :)
