Party!

Yesterday we had Buddy's 1st Birthday party! Yeah!!! Fun was had, cake was *eaten* and presents were opened. We got a few pictures (we let my mom take the rest!) so here's a few for you!

First up the cake ~ Buddy LOVES Clifford. If Clifford comes on TV the boy stops cold in his tracks and is glued to the TV. I'm not sure what it is about it, that he loves. So after many attempts of finding a clifford pan & cake, I modified some things and this is what we had:

The yellow is his doghouse and I had a full-size cake pan of a dog. Well I just cut the body off and used only the head. As SOON as Buddy saw it he was SO excited about it!

What is everyone doing in this room???? He's checking out the presents trying to figure out what to do next!

Time for cake. No pictures of us singing and blowing out candles. He cried when we sang. :(
Loving Clifford though - patting him. That's how he shows he loves something ~ he pats it.

Getting into it now! He licked the cake...he bit the cake. He smiled at the cake

Check out that smile! Shortly after this I cut Clifford in half. And then a little triangle. He picked up that little piece and said "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" Like he had conquered it. He smashed, mushed, squished and ate some. Finished it off with some ice cream and then to signal he was all done started pushing it on the floor. However I'm happy to report this morning that the high chair, his clothes, & the floor are all clean.
